Sherburn and Villages Community Trust are supporting everyone to keep warm this winter.
Sherburn Library
Sherburn and Villages Community Library will operate as a ‘Warm Welcome Space’ so anyone can visit for as long as they wish to keep warm. This is available throughout the year.
In addition, thanks to funding secured from Sherburn in Elmet Town Council, free hot drinks will be provided to everyone from 1st December 2024 until funds run out. Please ask at the library welcome desk.
The Old Girls’ School
At The Old Girls’ School Community Centre, a pop-up community cafe will run in the former tearoom space roughly once a week. This has also been funded in part by Sherburn in Elmet Town Council, supplemented by donations from local businesses. It is run by volunteers.
