Library Volunteers

Sherburn & Villages Community Library relies on over 50 volunteers to keep our doors open. There are lots of opportunities available – from front-of-house dealing with enquiries, through to helping with events, children’s activities such as story time or reading challenges, and broader help on marketing and communications.

If you are interested in volunteering with the library, please email sherburn.library@siect.uk, call 01609 536033 or pop in to arrange a visit and/or informal chat with one of our volunteer managers. No experience is necessary as full training will be given.
